This was cute! I like Alicia. She's not favorite but she's fun!Alicia and Nina team up against her other cousins. Nothing great.
This book surprised me in so many ways! I'm so glad to see that Alicia made friends and worked as a team with Nina. Nina's sisters, (Alicia's cousins) Celia and Isobel are rude rude rude! They leave Alicia there to do everything. After Nina and Alicia break the famous crystal statue of some Spain hero, they have to repay. Alicia doesn't worry until she calls her mom and she says that NO- I will not send money- you need to learn your lesson for once! SURPRISE! Nina and Alicia have to WORK
I never thought that one day I would give a Lisi Harrison book one star. Because, well, Lisi Harrison is one of my favorite authors. She writes amazing books and I love then, but I feel like The Summer Collection is just not all that good. Usually her books have messages in them, but The Summer Collection is to shallow, especially this one. I don't know if it's its shallowness, or the fact that this reads like Lisi had a one month dead line and ended up writing the whole book the night before,
This is the 3rd book of the Clique Summer Series, and it follows Alicia and her trip to Spain to go meet her cousin Nina and her cousins. She ends up having to work at a uber-fancy hotel to pay back a very expensive statue that she broke because of Nina. I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!!! 100% of awesomeness. I have never read any books in the Clique series before and didn't think i'd like them but this was such a good book! It was so fun to read with a perfect combination of romance and adventure. Nina(Alicia's cousin) was such an unpredictable person, one moment she was an evil crime to human kind and the next a total understanding, helpful love-bug!
