I was torn between giving it either one star or five stars but in the end I compromised and gave it three. The story itself isn't anything special and did not seem entirely plausible. However, as one of the other commentors pointed out, there are some amazing piercing sincere moments that make the book worth reading. Besides, the whole 1990's "internet is so new" atmosphere gives it a certain nostalgic charm.I noticed nanoseconds without him.---Because more than anything in life I really want to love someone.---When Natalia left, what he found the most difficult to accept was that the next day life goes on. "Of all things eternal, love lasts the shortest", Moliere once said. Really appropriate for this book's stories of (un)reciprocated love and unexpected turns of events. Kept me interested until the very end.
Fantastic book! Very sensual and full of emotions. But... it left me completely broken and turned inside-out. It's maybe the most sad reading I've ever had. The main line is quite simple (thus also very cruel with the ending) but all those short stories -satellites ... they're impossible, unbelievably paintive. I feel myself very bad after finishing this book but still recommend it for all my friends. THe only bad thing in it for me - too much adoration to the internet and too many rude

First of all, either the translation is terrible or the translator has such a nasty streak that he deliberately translated a horribly written work without telling the author.
