The heroine's brother is arrested for the murder and so the heroine (Piper) and the hero (Landon) set off to track down the real killer and thus free Piper's brother. I was intrigued by the mysterious past of the murder victim and I had a ball following along with Piper and Landon as they uncovered a trail of clues and -- along the way -- faced their feelings for one
This book was AWESOME!!!!
After the agonizing wait I endured for this book to come, Shattered by Dani Pettrey, did not dissapoint. Dani Pettrey is an excellent writer. She makes the characters come alive. I feel like they are real (or maybe that's just my wild imagination). I get so involved with the characters and the story she tells that I don't want the book to end. This book leads us back to the side story from book one, Submerged. Piper McKenna and Deputy Landon Grainger are the main characters in this exciting

The mystery was very good and I seriously had no idea who the killer was or the reason for what was going on. I was surprised when everything was revealed, as it was such a great plot and I did not
