Narration Conducive To Books I Am Alice (The Last Apprentice / Wardstone Chronicles #12)

I must be brave.
I must do what has to be done.
I am Alice.

Alice is the most powerful witch the county has ever seen. She may one day be the most evil. But Alice is also the best friend -and true love- of Tom Ward. Together they work to defeat the Fiend -the world's greatest evil- once and for all.

They have nearly everything they need, all except a blade hidden in the Dark, the Fiend's domain. So Alice ventures there to find it. She faces the most terrifying creatures in existence. And she once again battles old enemies who bear grudges: Bony Lizzie, Bloodeye, and more.

And there's something Tom didn't tell her. To vanquish the Fiend, Tom must sacrifice the person he loves most. Alice is hunting for the very blade that will eventually kill her.

Crit Appertaining To Books I Am Alice (The Last Apprentice / Wardstone Chronicles #12)
This is reportedly the penultimate novel in the wickedly entertaining Wardstone Chronicles. Yet the quality of any novel or series is not purely in how it entertains but also in the writing and in the way that characters and the story are created. It is no secret that I rate this as one of my favourite young adult series. It is rather dark, but it appears to hold the right balance that I like in a novel, a balance whereby evil exists, tragedy happens but all happens to be resolved in the end. I

Its a very good book. Very interesting and always is entertaining. Full of many mysterious. It is very enjoyable and I really enjoy readying it.

This penultimate book in The Wardstone Chronicles is told from the point of view of Tom Ward's friend Alice as she heads into the dark to find the dagger needed to destroy the Fiend. It's different to much of the series as it sees a different main character, Alice, lead the narration. For me it felt much like the last few books of the series, little more than a money-spinner, especially as the ending of the book renders the whole thing unnecessary. It is an enjoyable ready though, largely

Action packed, nicely done.I tried to rate it 5 star, but I can't. Its different on how I felt with Grimalkin. I love Alice, I like how her character grown in this. The action, on how was it in her point of view. The story, some is still unknown to me i.e. how the life in "dark" work out, how possible is that possible. Why other Gods (good Gods) is in the same place as the Dark God. Why some good God can be bad God, I mean its really confusing, but somehow I could formulate an answer to this

It took sooo lonnnngggg to finish this book. I loved the I Am Grimalkin filler because it was so action packed. This book had so much lull in the middle it was beyond ridiculous. There was like 10 chapters on ONE backstory. Had that one backstory been 2-3 chapters long it couldve been a much better book. I did enjoy the description of the different domains & how the beings of the dark survive. I was absolutely elated to see Thorne again!!!

Thrilling, this time the book as the tittle is all about Alice, dont Wait for Tom's appearance, as the previous one, he wont but for the mention of his name.so Alice finally go to the Dark, to retrieve what is needed to finish their quest, through danger, blood, meeting old as well as new enemies, and threats of all aspects, would she able to fulfill her task, and what is the cost to pay??that was one HELL of journey, with lots of flashbacks of Alice's past, and how was her life with Bonnie
