All of the Rogers
My alarm goes off at four am. It takes an hour to get to the studio, and then my ballet training begins. I go to school for a few hours, and then it’s back to the studio for more training. Go to bed. Repeat the whole process the next day.
I hate it.
My time at school is a blur, except for biology. I don’t rush through that class, because I get to see Roger Byrnes. He probably doesn’t even know I exist, but my heart beats a little faster when I see him walk through the classroom door with his messy hair and carefree attitude. He has so much energy. But then he stares off into the distance, and I wonder what he’s thinking. It’s the highlight of my day.
I wish I could quit ballet so I could be a normal teenager. Someone who Roger would want to be with. I could use some excitement in my life…I bet Roger could give that to me.
Heartwarming and Gutwrenching, 'All of the Rogers' was an emotional coin, flipping constantly from one happy extreme to the worst. Lockwood did an amazing job writing this story! Everything was, I felt, in fluid perfection from the toxic characters, the mentally sound influencers, the plot- it came together so wonderfully. If this was a movie, I'd watch it every bittersweet moment. (Thinking along the lines of 'The Fault in Our Stars'.) In the beginning, I expected it to be a 'coming into your
I was an enthralled beta reader, devouring this book and even shouting out loud at a particularly shocking scene. All of the Rogers is a heavier read than I had come to expect of the author. In it, Erin Lockwood weaves a masterful tale, one that eases you into a typical teenage relationship that reveals itself to be so much more. Thought-provoking, emotional and with a dramatic punch, All of the Rogers makes you question how you perceive people and what love really means.

I did not think that this book would be as intense as it was. I didnt think Id stay up till 1:30 in the morning in tears finishing it either. This is a great read for anyone but I think especially young adults. It discusses the concepts of healthy vs non healthy relationships whether that be or the friend or romantic variety. It also discusses mental illness, independence, dependency (of different varieties as well), commitment and other concepts that you may face that are hard to discuss. Whats
This book isn't a hard book, I actually read it in a day and it was in the midst of doing other things. This book handles a question of mental illness in young adults, the challenge of a diagnosis, and the impact on the lives of people we love. Kerri, is a former ballerina, she never wanted to be a ballerina, but it was her mother's dream, and now that she's blown her Juliard audition, things are tense with her mother. The story starts off as Kerri's tries to adapt to life as a normal teenager
** I was a beta reader for this book. **This was not an easy book to go through, in terms of the themes that it touches but it was an undeniably engrossing one. Lockwood's writing is effortless and was easy to follow. I always found it a difficult task when authors decide to write a book about/for teenagers when they're already adults because it's rare that they get their voices depicted appropriately and realistically. In this case however, the author managed to do a remarkably good job in

Page turner! I really enjoyed this book and kept wondering what was coming next! The author did a great job of making you feel so many emotions for her characters. I think the subject matter is important and not talked about a lot. Mental health issues are not well understood by many and the struggles they Kerri went through (though of course harder given the circumstances) are pressures many teenagers go through and very relatable. This book was very well written and I would definitelyHeartwarming and Gutwrenching, 'All of the Rogers' was an emotional coin, flipping constantly from one happy extreme to the worst.
