Welcome to May-nority corner of unpopular opinion. I know that Red Queen's War is loved and rates highly, but I have issues with this book No actually, I have issues with Jalan. I'm going to have to go and say that I didn't enjoy this as much as the first. It's a long book and it felt that way right through. The journeying that was an experience I relished before now seemed unnecessarily repetitive. It took flashbacks into the past to add any genuinely new information about the characters.
