The Faerie Path (Faerie Path #1)
Yet another title that I left sitting on my bookshelf for way too long. I've corrected my mistake in waiting such a long time neglecting this title, and can say that I found yet another fey series that I'm interested in seeing how it will all pan out. With six books in the series I've got my work cut out for me if I want to see where the rest of the series goes, but after such a wonderful series opener, I don't think I'll find the task very daunting.I will start out by admitting that I may have
I really didn't like this book. I was practically laughing all way through it - it was just so sad and pathetic. I felt phony and for the first 250 pages there was absolutely no story. It was going nowhere, and then suddenly, out of the blue, there was a problem (a bad one at that) that needed solving by the main character, Tania/Anita (notice how the two names have the same letters. How corny is that?). The entire book was anticlimatic, extremely boring and quite painful to read. There's no

A Midsummer Night's Dream has been re-written many times to appeal to the differing audiences, I am hence sad to say, that although it seems many have succeed in making it interesting still, this author failed at it. I am not going to force myself to continue wasting my time finishing series I could not stand the first book of it.
Looking for a quick read, I picked up The Faerie Path a couple years ago. I got a third through, but I was unable to bring myself to finish it. For such a thin book, it was an uphill struggle trying to read it. The story is just too bland for my tastes. The Faerie Path is the stereotypical girl-grows-into-her-own-sort of story, except there are fairies involved. Starting with an unoriginal premise is unfortunate, however I would've still been willing to read it if the characters were at least

Okay. This one was a fail for me. The cover is lovely, but the book is just not very good. Anita/Tania is Mary-Sue ish. She reads like a bad self-insert in a fanfic, which is not a good thing. Plus she's stupid. I don't really care to find out, but you don't leave something that POISONS YOUR FAERIE REALM behind even if you are rescuing someone. Just no. The plot is super predictable and honestly I found this book really boring. I like fairies, but just...no. I did not like this book.I did likeYet another title that I left sitting on my bookshelf for way too long.
